UCLA Exhibition and Panel Discussion
Los Angeles, California
On April 25, 2023, our team curated a compelling exhibition and panel discussion at the UCLA campus, with more than 100 attendees. Featuring diverse artworks and interactive exhibits, we ignited vital conversations and heightened awareness about on-campus sexual violence. This event showcased passionate student activists and experts from UCLA, as well as student organizations like Activism Through Policy and Bruin Consent Coalition. Furthermore, our outreach within our home institution expanded through fruitful collaborations with other campuses in Southern California, including OSAC at Occidental College. This collaborative effort, both within and beyond our institution, has not only amplified our research but also strengthened the connections between academic research and active student communities. It has fostered a holistic and inclusive approach to our project's objectives, leaving a lasting legacy of unity, art, and activism in the pursuit of a safer and more inclusive college environment.

Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT) Hawaii
The 19th Hawaii International Summit on Preventing, Assessing & Treating Trauma Across the Lifespan, hosted by the Institute on Violence Abuse and Trauma (IVAT), was held from March 28 to April 1, 2022. On March 30, the Double Jeopardy study was featured in an oral session led by Eunhee Park and Jianchao Lai that delved into the experiences and perceptions of East Asian international students regarding sexual violence, harassment, and xenophobia during the COVID-19 pandemic. [Through mixed methods, the research aimed to shed light on the amplified experiences of sexual harassment, discrimination, microaggressions, and intimate partner violence amidst the pandemic, with a focus on the negative impacts of COVID-19 on international students.] The session emphasized the need for culturally tailored interventions and better peer support systems and facilitated discussion among scholars and practitioners on ways to implement trauma-informed care with a cultural perspective.

Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI)
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) is one of the most significant research initiatives focused on sexual and intimate partner violence. The SVRI Forum (September 19-23, 2022) is an event organized by the SVRI where researchers, activists, policymakers, and survivors from across the world gather to share knowledge, learnings, and innovations in the field. This forum is an essential platform for networking, sharing ideas, and establishing collaborative research partnerships. In the Forum 2022, 1,021 delegates from 99 countries came to Cancun to connect, share and learn. A highlight of the forum was the "Double Jeopardy Transmedia Artwork", which adorned the event space and was prominently featured at the UCGHI Booth.

University of California Global Health Institute
Pacific Grove, California
The Double Jeopardy team was honored to be invited to the CGHI (Center for Gender & Health Justice) annual retreat, held at the Asilomar Hotel and Conference Ground in Pacific Grove, California, from Friday, September 30th, to Sunday, October 2nd, 2022. This event provided us with the opportunity to present our ongoing transmedia project, sharing insights into our data collection process and offering a preliminary overview of our findings. Engaging in meaningful conversations with fellow attendees, including esteemed professors, doctoral scholars, and dedicated research staff, our primary goal was to foster intellectual curiosity and spark interest in our research pursuits. The retreat served as an invaluable platform for collaboration and the exploration of innovative research avenues, uniting a diverse community of scholars in a formal and enriching setting.
